The use of extension tubes means a reduction in the possible utilisation rate of the cylinder capacity. For a diagram, see the figure “Reduction of cylinder capacity” below.
Example: CFC102 can only be extended by 800mm at full working pressure.
When fitting extension tubes to CFC cylinders, adapters are required:
- TF50 for all 49 kN CFC cylinders
- TFG100 for all 111 kN CFC cylinders
- TFG250 for all 250 kN CFC cylinders
