Product Description

• BTB’s non-scratch pinchweld trimming blades allow easy and safe removal of the remaining urethane adhesive bead from the vehicle pinchweld/body and glass after glass or panel removal, leaving the correct thickness of adhesive for re-bonding.

  They have a special and distinct radius grind cutting edge to the underside, which avoids any damage to painted pinchwelds

  The flat cutting section of the WK6-40 blade is 40mm wide, so is best suited for trimming wider beads of adhesive, common in the bus, truck, rail and commercial vehicle industry.

  – eliminate scratching of paintwork on pinchweld and vertical pinchweld wall
  – maintain the integrity of the E-Coat
  – Safely remove urethane embedded with shattered tempered glass fragments e.g. smashed rear hatch glass
  This blade is most often used in the BTB WK7 and WK7L manual handles but can also be used in the BTB WK10HD air power tool or the BTB 12Volt battery powered E-Tool for heavier duty applications.

  These blades are also excellent for capping/removing the top section of the encapsulation on damaged encapsulated glasses to allow access to adhesive from outside vehicle using BTB’s Powered Cold Knife Blades.
