BTB’s new “Z” Spade Blades are used in BTB’s power tools andwill cut in either direction either by pushing forward or pullingbackward against serrated edges, and can be operated in BTB’s Manual Handles.These blades provide precise stability and control with their 40mm wide and flat surface resting on the glass or panel. As a result and for many basic window/windscreen glass cut-outs, these Spade Blades offer a much more controlled and user-friendly option. This is further enhanced when used in BTB’s NEW and extremely user friendly 12 volt powered E-Tool.
In addition, these blades are great for severing remaining adhesive stringers which are hidden behind the black frit/band. Simply operate the 40mm wide, leading cutting edge at 90° to adhesive to safely separate all the way to the glass edge and/or up against the inside of moulding or to the body panel if necessary.
For difficult installations and hard adhesives, including for hard-to-reach areas like below dashboards, BTB’s standard range of penetrating cutting blades should be used.
