D75 BB-SE – High capacity on narrow tracks

During the development of the D75 BB-SE some very specific requirements were considered: 

• Radio remote control for the operation as a reversible train
• Equipped with compressed air brake (passenger transport) and vacuum brake (freight traffic)
• Train power supply 3AC 400V 50 kVA
• Retrofitting of UIC coupler systems for direct coupling of standard gauge wagons for dolly application
• Retrofitting for utilisation on standard track gauge by replacement of bogies
