We recommend always dimensioning with a 3-4 times safety margin between the maximum working pressure of the hydraulic system and the burst pressure of the hose.
Materials and performance
- LSxx1ES series hoses are made of polyamide (PA)/polyurethane (PUR) and are reinforced with several layers of wound steel cord.
- LSSx03EB series hoses are made of polyoxymethylene (POM)/polyamide (PA) and reinforced with four and six steel cores respectively.
- LSx04ER series hoses are made of polyoxymethylene (POM)/polyamide (PA) and reinforced with four and six steel cord inserts respectively.
The temperature range for continuous use is -40°C to +100°C
Sealing principle and construction
- LSx01ES series hoses have fixed external G1/4″ threaded connections at each end which are sealed with gaskets.
- LSSx03EB series hoses have a swivelling G1/4″ male threaded connection at one end and a fixed G1/4″ female threaded connection at the other. Both are sealed with bipacked seals.
- LSx04EB series hoses have fixed “nut” connections in each with 9/16″ UNF internal thread and are sealed by cone principle.
